I wrote about 50 pages in a day (which never happens) and felt it was very much a story worth telling. I then spent the following year perfecting this script. ‘Ancestry Road’ is set in Scotland
and was filmed entirely in a small town in the middle of Tasmania, Australia. We shot the whole thing in 17 days and managed to pull it off and create something very heartfelt, cinematic and honest.
